C.J. Gosling

I’ve got a beat up black guitar that travels with me wherever I go. I consider myself more of a song writer than a musician and more of voice in a circle of friends than a performer. I love writing songs that others can sing to and love when something I write inspires others.
I write about simplicity, joy, and beauty. My passion for life and friends is also reflected in my story writing and paintings.
Life has been an adventure. I’ve done youth work with street kids, run a sailing camp, preformed in a New Delhi super mall, and harvested grapes by hand in the vineyards of Germany… among other things.

True love has brought me back to my hometown of Nanaimo. My husband and I are awaiting the birth of our little baby girl (our first!) and my life is marked by the sleepy cycle of baked apple pies, visits of old song-writing friends, and the writing and release of my second Young Adult adventure novel.

And ‘old black’ remains; faithfully watching me from her stand, her winking curves drawing me away from the computer and into a world of clarity and emotion.
